This is not comparable to the GTO.
The eventual SV version is.

Even given that, this has more power than a GTO and will hit 60 quicker. (partially thanks to AWD, which the GTO doesn't have..)

 

I am not comparing rather guessing how quick it will be and hoping mid 20sec performance from it doing 0-300. But after hearing figures, I am skeptical. Lambo should blow any current ferraris in the straight or is it too hard to even marginaly improve 0-300km time...

 

What difference does it make? You can't feel if a car is 2 seconds faster to 300. Anyway, a big Lambo is not a track tool. It's about showing off and scaring the driver and other people with its looks and noise (nothing negative about it). For that purpose, it's got more than enough power.

 

The weight of LP640 is 1665 kg. According to the last information the weight saving comparing with the LP640 is 229 kg, so the weight of New V12 or LP700-4 as it being called now is 1436 kg. Not bad result.

Well, that depends on what weight you measure. The best numbers come from independent magazines like SportAuto who weigh the cars when testing them. The LP640 had 1830kg with a full tank of petrol, the LP670 SV weighed in at 1755kg. For comparison, a 458 was 1560kg, a 430 Scuderia 1404kg and the new GT2 RS 1405kg.
If the new car can get to 1600kg, it would be a huge step forward.
