Thanks, Solaris64, for your input. Yes, I guess one of my side question to the original post on CORSA mode was, what are you all's normal "habits" in regards to the use of the CORSA mode, and I got my answer from Solaris64. When I had my BMW M3 (SMG), I always drive it in the Sport mode when the engine is warmed up, regardless, and I enjoyed the car A LOT MORE. I will have to try it in the SuperVeloce, and see how I like it.

Do you have any pics by chance ? Feel free to open a new thread in the Lambo section

Corsa mode

Hi, I have to say, the usage of the Corsa mode is a bit different from the BMW M power mode, as used on M3 or M5/6. I have an M5 as daily commuter, and pushing the M button means transform the car from a taxi to a rocket. This probably because the power goes from 400 to 500 HP, and the change in the gear/throttle/suspensions are much more extreme as when you push the Corsa mode. In the SV the power does not change, only the throttle response, the noise, and the famous 200 rpm at the end of the rev counter. It seems to me, that in general the motor respond a bit faster.

The downside of the M5 is you cannot really drive at low speed, or in the city, as the car reacts too nervous. With the SV, no problem, I warm up the motor and especially look at the oil temperatures, and then I always run Corsa mode, everywhere.

That`s my first experience with the Corsa mode. About launch control I have no experience. Our Swiss Alps roads have only bends... which is perfect for an SV, as the car is incredibly stable (with or without corsa mode).

So enjoy, have a nice day.

When I drive my SV with the Corsa mode on, I feel that the main differences are:
1. Faster gear up shifts at high rpm
2. No automatic up shifts by E-Gear system even if you hit the rev limiter
3. E-Gear system blips the throttle during downshifts to match the revs (Seems to happen only at high rpm too)

(I'm not exactly sure what is the exact high rpm but its probably around 5500rpm)

However I cant confirm if there is an improvement in engine power.

Even with the Corsa mode on, the traction control is still activated unless you press the TCS button to off it.

The Corsa mode can be turn on anytime.

Thanks, Leang86, for your response. It gives me greater peace of mind to know that traction/stability control is still on/activated while I'm in CORSA mode, unless I manually turn it off. I wasn't clear from the owner's manual whether the CORSA button would automatically take the traction/stability control off. I will always leave TSC on, and feeling safer that it is on while I play with the CORSA mode.
