Yes, that was me. I owned the car till about a month ago when I sold it to a South Cali Dealer..I knew he was running it threw here..And I was able to buy it back for less than I sold it to him for..his loss my gain..oh well..
No I will take it back home, spray it orginal OEM Black and sell it again hopefully...and make a few bucks..it is a GREAT truck with only 3 k miles on it..I may just keep it for my self..I think Black on Red GUTS is going to look Killer!!
I also almost bought back my Black 6.0 I sold it two months ago..but it went to 139K with buyers fee's so was not worth having again..
It was for sure a BUYERS auction this year..NOT a sellers..

IMO the Best Deal of the weekend was the 1991 Corvette, one owner with under 8000 miles in MINT condition for $9100.00 WOW that is bang for the buck..
The most insane to me was the 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS in re-paint Black..it was a better than average car, 118K miles, no documentation and went for $99,000 IMO it was a 45K car all day long..
But as in ALL Auctions, it just takes two people wanting the same car and caught up in the momment, the TV coverage, the Booze and their arm candy of the day pushing them on...that is exactly what every SELLER at these auctions hopes for..
I will say the average car, for this show was below average from previous BJ Auctions. It was also VERY VERY apperent to even the un-trained eye that this auction was a SLEW up "running the bid up" by the auction house..a lot of pissed off people saw it and complained..I think YOU will see some issues after this auction, LEGAL one's. There were at least 5 people I know of refusing to honor the hammer price bid as it was "run-up" on them...two cars even got backed all the way up and started all over again.
I think the day of "no reserve" and the hype of BJ is coming to an end..most other reputable Auction Houses have moved to a "Reserve" option bid. Also with the rise of their (BJ) entry fee's as well as their buyer and seller fee's...just gotten way to high and to much risk..and I think that is one of the main reasons that "most" of the cars at this auction were not up to standard and just run of the mill junk..which was revealed with the pocket books of the buyers bidding extremely low for inferior product.
I can say, I am done with BJ until it turns its operation and "run up" bidding around..
Looking forward to Monterey, will have at least 4 Lambos going through at Russo and Steel...with Reserves.
