The beeping.....is the PARKING brake on??!!
I've driven the E gear and it's not that hard to drive. And like mentioned, it's not an Automatic, or did they engineer the 'creep' mode like Porsche's PDK system has.
E gear, just put it into 1st and bang thru the gears.........up and down.

The beeping sounds are the clutch overheating warning that's now on the SV. The car is best not driven in stop and go. The best method is to wait for a longer gap, then advance , put the car back in neutral, wait, then go again and repeat. This will help keep the temp down.

Also make sure you're not holding the RPM too high while stopped and never ride the clutch on a slight incline. Make sure the car is in idle in first or neutral. If it persists in normal traffic, best to go in and have it adjusted. If your car shudders at any time, take it in and have them look at it.

Thanks Tommy! I think that its the warning system too but I never thought that it was for the clutch. I suspected that the running temperature has gone more than half, thus the beeping. Thanks for the tip, currently I do leave a huge gap and then advance.
However, my next question is, do I press it hard or just enough to let it creep? and also what do u meant by dont let it idle on high RPM? mine does the occasional 950rpm and sometimes, depending on time, it will go up to 1100 then drop back down again.
In addition, I ALSO miss those other cars that let the 1st gear creep slowly. It is very helpful in stop n go traffic.

You're really wearing that throwout bearing out if you give it a little gas and just let it creep. Essentially the car is feathering the clutch when you do that, not good. Best to "press it hard" so that the clutch fully engages and then lift and apply the brake when you come up on the car in front of you. If it's a lot of stop and go, I would drop the car into neutral, then as the car in front of you pulls away, re-engage 1st gear and set off again.
