What's It Like To Ride One Of These Bulls

Driving an exotic is great. But it probably won't live up to your expectations.
All cars have quirks and things that you won't like about them.
Once you work hard enough to plunk down the cash for a six figure car, you almost expect it to drop out of the sky and drive on water.
Not trying to burst your bubble. But cars are nothing compared to a nice quiet time at the park with you wife and kids.
At the end of the day, it is just a hunk of metal.
You will learn that.

The SV gets more attention than the LP640 did, mostly because car people know it's rare. I actually get chased a lot which is a bit creepy. On more than one occasion, I've had to go past my own driveway and around the back way to get home without being followed. 90% of the time it's people who are just into cars, but there are haters out there too.
Generally people are extremely nice and the conversation is intelligent, but I do get tired of the, "Hey, what are you doing with my car." as if that's the least bit original. Oh, one of the best lines ever was when I was getting gas and someone walked up to the LP640 and said, "I'm not going to say anything to you because you have that car." I reminded him that he just did. I giggled about that for an hour straight.

Choose your passenger correctly and you can have sex while enjoying your exotic.

AND....
The first time I drove a really awesome exotic it was a 355, and the sound was intoxicating when you turned over the key tingles up and down your spine, the first time you get to do it, take it all in. It is an awesome expieriance.
First time I drove a Gallardo, same thing. AWESOME

A. Like Barrister said, Lambo or not, most of the time they do not live up to expectation. The dream is almost always way more exciting than reality.
B. The one that does push all your buttons and more, you should keep! I've known too many people who have "should've never sold that car" syndrome.
I haven't driven a lot of Lambos, but here's what I remember from my brief experiences: After the initial excitement wears off, the seats become uncomfortable, visibility/blind spots increasingly frustrating, and in the Countach it gets really hot inside if you get caught in traffic or driving at low speeds for a while.
BUT, there is NOTHING like the sound of a 12 cylinder Lambo, and the pull is amazing on the top end. You can tell the car does not like cruising around below 3,000 rpm, and it eggs you on. It's an event every time.
