Thicker Murcielago Steering Wheel

A common complaint for Murci owners has been the thin steering wheel. At the top, the wheel is 24mm in verticle thickness and 29mm in depth. In comparison, a 2009 Gallardo wheel is 28mm by 35. Our new 'Sport' wheel offers an increas of 5mm to 29mm and 34mm. We've offered a thicker Murci wheel for several years but never pushed it due to it seeming too 'spongy' due to the nature of the extra foam padding. We now have a new process that results in a very firm feel that does not involve foam. Over that goes a layer of leather, suede or alcantara.

We delivered the first wheel a few weeks ago. This customer specified black suede with yellow stitching to match his interior. The customer was very happy and we think it came out real nice.

We do all of our wheels to a customer's specific order. You can customize the carbon, leather, thickness, stitching, etc. We also do wheels without any carbon work at all.

If you order a wheel, we use our own wheel cores. Once we have finished the wheel, we send it to the customer who has it installed on his car. The car is down for only the amount of time it takes to install the wheel - usually an hour.

Please see our website for pricing.

The stock steering wheel looks so cheap in the Murcie's interior, definitely a huge improvement, awesome work!
