Callistos came in 06 = hottest wheels evar, if you get an earlier version it's a must upgrade.

 

e gear issues are what i have heard as well. 06+ have some updates but you could always get an 04-05 and throw some bypass pipes on it. would be a fun car.

 

06-current gallardos can't even compare to the 04-05's ... exhaust is completely different, more aggressive handling, navigation, adjustable ride-height, color range, rims, better gear response, and best of all more horsepower

The difference between the cars is more or less irrelevant, so long as you're talking those with a proper gearbox. A few exhaust tweaks-- who cares, toss it in the trash and put a real one on-- and other fairly meaningless stuff.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the early cars. You won't feel the 10 hp bump, and you'll get that and more with an exhaust and decat if you're so inclined.
