Just putting this out as a feeler to see if there is any interest in a fully functioning PCM 3.0 out of a 2011 997. Removed to add one with navi. Sorry for the delay in response, but I do not believe it will work as the connectors in the back of the radio are a bit different in the PCM3.

Also for those interested in possible using it in other applications, I did find this BHO9003 Factory Radio Retention Harness for select 2000-Up Euro Vehicles :: Installation :: Car Stereos and components :: Discount Car Stereo this harness plugs into the PCM, though still does solve the fiber optic dilemma.
