FS: 2008 Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Not in hind sight, but the Scud would have been a keeper if I didn't have the CGT, too. F430 is a great car!

I paid $60K over when I ordered my 430 Spider in 2007...$344K before tax and license. The car was beautiful, but I didn't like the feel of it, and barely drove it. Sold it 3-1/2 years later for $184K minus dealer commission. So I lost over $160K and only drove it about 2,700 miles. Pretty expensive on a per mile basis. But who cares? You win some, you lose some.

I don't think anybody buys cars like these thinking they're economical to own. As least, in my case, the Scud was a blast to drive. My hardest discipline was keeping the miles low for resale and for the Ferraritosi who expect a garage queen. I guess at 4700 miles, I failed, but this car is immaculate and I loved driving it. This may be the best handling car I've ever owned. I wish I could keep them all, but I need to scale back.

Yes, losing some money always hurts -- but you have a great attitude.
