After a couple of times catching your head in the door, you will find yourself ducking naturally! That is how I learned.

It's part of the lore of having a GT40 (or GT for that matter). Everyone hits their head once. We call it "Gurney-ing" yourself, after the great Dan Gurney who they made the "Gurney bubble" for when he raced GT's.

^^^ That's awesome! I find myself "Gurney-ing" every time I get in a different GT. It is well worth it for the privilege to drive one.
