With 40k miles and a price of 80K I can see why no one ISNT jumping on it.. If you look you can find 15K mile cars for 80K..

Exactly. When i saw the 40k miles (one of the highest miles i have seen for sale) i was expecting to see one of the lowest prices too.

Also, only two pics? Any COOL options?

1st of all it's a CERTIFIED PRE OWNED by an authorized Porsche dealership.

2nd of all, it's a higher mileage car; but it's also lowest priced CPO 997 Turbo. Search Porscheusa.com. - so it IS infact been priced accordingly-

3rd, you can't compare this car to the ones on the 'used car lots'. Buy an 07, it's got barely a year left of warranty, not to mention there is NO guarantee that it doesn't have paint work, sheet metal replaced or frame damage.

4th- call a Porsche parts departement on replacement cost of a GT1 engine. You buy from a 'exotic used car' lot, you're taking risks. What ever you 'think' you saved by going with an NON authorized CPO car could easily be eaten up in replacement costs and repair costs. Especially if Porsche refuses to do warranty work due to a nasty DME report or obvious signs of abuse.

 

I agree Stoppie! Great price for gorgeous 997...if it was only black or atlas. (PM me if you get one) Been looking for 2 months for the right one.

 

Stoppie, i wasnt fully disagreeing with you man --- just replying to your comment "why isnt this gone yet" --- giving you a reason (from my perspective) of why it is still for sale.

I would ONLY buy a CPO car so i agree with your point. Regardless, its a cool car!

 

CPO'd or not, I personally couldn't see myself spending $80K on a car with 40k miles. Personally speaking though.
