Like I said above, I am thinking about selling my car. It is a 2003 996 C4S widebody, has an auto/tiptronic transmission with about 57k miles. It is seal grey metallic in color, has an all-black leather interior, Bose sound, alcantara headliner, etc. How much should I list this at once I get back this summer? What are you gonna get if you sell it?

 

You can find nice TTs in the high 30's. I would say 29-35 is realistic, if it's nice.

 

I am thinking about selling this since it spends most of the year in a garage, and buying a Jeep Commander or FJ Cruiser. Either one of those would be much more functional than my car in terms of room and comfort levels (for more than 2 people). It is perfect for just me, but for more than myself and one other, it is no bueno...

 

sell it for mid 35 or higher. if they can't negotiate, fek'em.

I know... Oh well. I am just hoping that someone that hates having to clutch all the time in CA traffic will be after one that is an auto.

 

Do you have other cars? How much use do you have for the back seats? With high gas prices, do you really want a SUV?

 

I don't have another car; this is my only one. I do have a lot of use for the back seats, and I need a real trunk as well. I am not too worries about the gas prices in CA. I don't drive long distances very often, and I am going to buy another motorcycle in a year or so, so the time I spend split between the two will make up for any fuel price concerns...
