Bump for a really nice example of the 928 GTS.

I used to know one of the owners of this car and always loved the contrasting black carpet and wood shifter in this car.

More info regarding this car recorded on this website: 1994-928GTS-40

I know you guys have recently reduced the price and IMO this is a great car for the $. Good luck with the sale.

I understand. There is a pretty large demand for 5-speed GTSs in the right colors with the right miles; if this car were a 5-speed it would be priced ~$10k to $15k ($15k at their new lower price and in a better market....) more.

Obviously it's going to depend largely on originality, history, and condition. Miles are getting to a point where the value will go down with each mile you put on it for the next few years. 10 years from now a GTS with 24k miles will be considered extremely low mileage (I know even now 24k miles isn't high.....). Without seeing the car in person I would conservatively say it's worth at least what you paid for it ($58,500 I think....) in this market and perhaps $8-10k more during better economic times. You have the 2nd last 5-speed car and the last red GTS built for the North American market so there is a pretty high level of exclusivity/desirability IMO. What you have working against you is the exterior color. It has been my experience (I had a red/black 93 5M with 28k mi) red 928s are harder to sell for whatever reason. Personally, I love the GTS in red so who knows why..... You lookin to sell?

Recently, Michael Willhoit sold a 6k mile 5-speed GTS for $92,500. The car is identical to mine except that it has body side mouldings and half the miles. A couple months ago I bought my 95 back from a guy I sold it to 15 months earlier for more than I paid for the car in 2000 when it had 8k miles. I never advertised mine and it was not listed for sale when I bought it back and there were two other buyers trying to buy it. I sold it for nearly what Willhoit sold the 94 for. My GTS is as close to mint as any GTS has ever been or will ever be; from what I hear, so was the 94 MW sold.

Here is another 95 GTS 5M that sold for $48k a few months ago on eBay. 1995-928GTS-06 This particular car has had major paint work and a replacement motor by Porsche at 17k miles with a motor numbered block that belongs in an AT GTS.....

Sorry for the highjack of Jonathan's thread so to get it back on topic: In my opinion, this car is a STEAL at their current price of $34,950!!!!! .....in spite of the AT!

Chuck, looks like you're missing an AT 928 in your collection.
