Aston Martin Vanquish Volante Hits The Nürburgring
The stunning Vanquish blows its top

Once again, our teamspeed spies snagged a few detailed photos a very thinly disguised prototype of the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante – this time undergoing handling tests at the challenging German Nürburgring.

Like every other Volante model in Aston's range, the open-top version of the Vanquish features a retractable fabric hood that stows away between the passenger compartment and the boot area.

Under the bonnet, you will find the same 5.9-litre V12 engine generating 565 hp and 620 Nm of peak torque connected to a 6-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission driving the rear wheels as on the coupe model.

The new drop-top Vanquish is expected to make it's debut later on this year.
