Having driven all the ones you mention, for me the V12V is the ultimate. Once you've driven one you won't even consider a V8S.
The R8s are fantastic cars, they really are - especially the V10 with a manual 'box, but for me the V12V is the pick of that bunch.
Just get yourself one in an exciting colour - these two are amazing:

i have always had a soft spot for the v12 vantage. its an excellent package and its a true enthusiasts car.
currenty have a v10 audi r8 spyder, i woult not compare it to the v12 vantage. two different cars. Driven the Aston at some length, for all the positives it still "feels" like a dated car.
how about chopping in the 5 and getting a standard vantage with an r8 v10!?
