My dad's DB9 Volante

My dad sent me these pics of the replacement DB9 last week, he's had it for a few months now since new. He did all of 3000 miles on his first DB9 Volante in three years...silly to even replace it IMO. He went with a similar color to his old DB7 Volante, which i prefer to his first DB9 which was a dark gray.

Much to my frustration he refuses to tint the windows (which is something i would do for safety above all things in London) and informed me that he hasn't used the paddle shifters before (even on the old car). He just had this thing in for a first service which IIRC was at 500 miles or so, he only has about 600 on it now! He bought a very flash personal plate so I had to censor it!

He really can't take a picture to save his life, anyway here they are:

Aston is an unknown quantity at this point
How come he does not drive it very often? For the last year or so, I have been using mine everyday....

He DD's a mini, he's on his second and my mom is on her third - they love them. Since i flew the coup many years ago, my parents travel for 10 days a month on Average and he uses the DB9 on the occasional weekend i suppose. He keeps offering me the opportunity to enter into business with him, I've told him the car becomes mine if i return home, to which he tells me to stay over here!
