Jaguar to showcase new F-Type at Goodwood

Jaguar is set to thrill at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed with the introduction of its new F-Type.

The F-Type prototype will be driven by Mike Cross and will showcase Jaguar's highly-anticipated roadster that goes on sale in 2013.

Jaguar's Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark said, "The Goodwood Festival of Speed is focused around the dynamic hill runs where the public can see, hear and smell the cars - this is why we have chosen it as the place to showcase an F-Type prototype. The development program is progressing with vigor and we look forward to showing the world the F-Type in production form later this year."

It will be nice, I guess... I'd prefer it not to be convertible, though.

 

The coupe is coming after the Roadster...

 

Wonder if the will debut this as well.
