Spied: 2013 Aston Martin DBS Undisguised [Updated]

A chap on Pistonheads has been invited to Gaydon next month to view the production version of this car - and it's....
the DBS.
There will apparently be two exhaust outlets either side and the front bumper/splitter arrangement is a red herring.
Plus the rear quarter is much extended, you can just about make it out on the side profile shot.

Interesting if so...

I may be wrong Tim but I think it's someone different to the OP saying it will be the Vanquish
Incidentally, whils the plate is differnet, it looks identical to this mule https://teamspeed.com/forums/aston-m...artin-db9.html - if you look closely, new hatch boot, wheels and more are the same - the camo hides the bulgign rear flanks. At the time, I suggested I thought it too aggressive to be DB9
I've been told I have an invite for next month too, but I don't know what I've been invited to see !
I don't think many/any people actually know much at the moment but for what it's worth, I think the new DBS will be marketed as a spiritual successor to the Vanquish, i.e. they will be one and the same, probably with a completely new name (as they are moving away from DB but surely won't actually call it vanquish). Perhaps this will be the anniveersary model ?
I think the 'base 2+2 GT' will succeed both the DB9 and the Virage. I also think there will be greater differention between new dB9/virage and the new dbs/vanquish than there is at the moment. All this is purely guesswork.....based more on what I want and think would make sense than what I actually know

The DB9 will be launched next year, the Virage will no longer a stand alone car they will offer a Virage Package as an upgrade from the DB9. The DBS from what we have heard will have an all new touch screen center console and will be pushing some big HP. We all hope this will be true.
