Any news on the production of the Jaguar CX-16?

Any news on any new development of this concept? Is it any closer to production? Haven't heard anything about it for a while now...It looks fantastic. Here I leave a picture for you to enjoy.

I got to see this car in person at the Amelia Island Concours, it looks even more fantastic in person. I for one really hope it does get put into production and that they don't water down the design too much, its already perfect

Teamspeed will be visiting the Jaguar factory in early May, so we'll be posting some news then. We're confident we should have some exciting developments to report on.

Plan on a convertible version first, then the coupe could be up to a year or two later. The convertible should be on sale next year, I would guess as a 2014.

good move for jag on a business level. interested to see how diluted the production version will become from its prototype's sporting intentions.

Yep, I guess it is a nice move. Such a good design can't be a bad move, I guess... lets just expect it isn't very diluted.

They had a white coupe with red interior at the Toronto Auto Show and it was absolutely stunning. It was such a good looking car that it was the only one I had to go by a second time to keep looking at it.
