Honestly, why would you buy this over one of those? Like everything Jaguar, this simply won't sell outside Coventry.

+1... Jaguar has a serious branding issue in my opinion. Over here I don't feel like they're taken seriously and are still pretty gaudy. I kind of view them as the British Cadillac, they're trying to do a good job but the cars just can't hold a candle to other offerings in terms of being aesthetic appealing without being cheesy.

I don't see how producing this car is going to hurt the brand. Can only be an asset.
Speaking of x-type, can't remember the last time I saw one on the road.
