Jaguar announces XK Artisan edition

Before the C-X16 begins production and while there's still a little life left in the XK (though not much, really), Jaguar has announced it will launch an Artisan edition in both coupe and convertible forms.

It's inside that you'll notice the upgrades which set this car apart from the regular XK. It uses what Jag calls 'Scraffito' finished leather to the front seats, instrument binnacle, door and rear quarter casings - it's a highly texture skin. New leather headlinings also feature, with two new veneer finishes – Shadow Walnut and Dark Figured Aluminium.

Special Edition treadplates and stainless steel pedals round out the cabin's Artisan touches.

Three new colours include the Special Edition Celestial Black, while Polaris White and Rhodium Silver can be specified.

Jaguar told Teamspeed today that most major European markets, Russia, China, MENA, US and Canada will have access to this special edition.
