Lotus To Reveal Evora Convertible At Geneva?

Lotus has been in the spotlight quite a bit of late but for all the wrong reasons with speculation of the company in dire need of finding a new suitor, but here's a bit of "fresh-air" as Lotus teases up a possible new convertible to be shown at this years Geneva Auto Show.

In a recent interview with Autocar CEO Danny Bahar said that "We have explained our plans to the new owner and have been told to keep going as we are. The immediate problem is to manage the cash in the business carefully during the 60-day pause, but I am confident that this is a temporary technical issue."

So with that being said, could we see a convertible or targa top variant of the Evora? We'll have to wait and see till the first week of March, but for now here is a rather odd and quirky press release below:

...Lotus' philosophy has always been 'less is more'. Now, with a display of true fighting spirit, we'll take this one step further in Geneva.
