Need help with V8 Vantage side strake removal

Has anyone removed them? I need to take them off in order to have the paint right around them polished after a recent repaint. Maybe the guys at Premier Protective Films have some suggestions?

You have to remove the inner wheel well to access it. If it's tight in there you may have to remove the fender.
