Yep, I've got an older one, lots of mods. They're great cars, very honest and tons of fun to drive through the mountains.
Badass wing on the back of yours, makes me think you've got just a "little" bit more than a "few mods"

The early Giugiaro-designed cars had a Citroen box. The Stevens and newer cars had the Renault UN1. It became something of a problem child on the V8 cars from 1997-on.
