It looks like Lotus designers took cues from Aston, Lambo, Lexus, etc to build the new cars... despite negative comments I believe this could work because these design cues make these new Lotuses recognizable, most people go for what they see and to for whats behind or looks at the past...

Saw all these cars in person last night. IMO, Lotus stole the show, although that was made easier since all the Italian brands did not display again this year.

I spent the more time at the Lotus booth than any other.

I love the Elan concept.
