I have to believe that this is bunk. Would Aston Martin really want something like this out there when they are still celebrating the One-77. I like the idea of a mid engine car and I think there are parts of the design that would work. However, it is a huge departure from what the company is about and has done before. Also, what's the origin of that 5.7TT engine? There has been a possible relationship with Mercedes since the Ford split but do they have an engine like that? Is that the engine that is about to land in the AMG cars? I would think that if this kind of thing were in the works, Dr. Bez would want more control and keep it a lot quieter. That has been his nature. Having said that, A true Gallardo / 458 Italia competitor would be awesome. The price should be more like 300K though.

exactly as I thought:
An Aston Martin spokesperson told 0-60 the story was “completely fabricated…by a golf buggy manufacturer to get their company name in the media. There is no truth in it at all,” adding that their company is not working with Electric Cars France (the company credited with leading the Super Sport project). The One-77 remains the only supercar the company is working on right now.
