#14
This sure going to be one of the best looking cars 2008/2009
The lines you see so far and the idea behind it is just...don't know...just what Aston is really all about great cars, very clean fast and sexy.
Just another teaser:

This car can in no way be compared to a Veyron, despite the pricetag's being not that far apart. IMO this just for creating hype around the Aston Martin brand and showing the world that Aston Martin can do more than just soft GT's. This has been an on-going "strategy", first begining with the Sportspack offered to the DB9 and now even the Vantage.
Then came the Vantage N24, Vantage N400 and RS 12 Vantage. Now its time for Aston Martin to do what Lamborghini did not so long ago, their version of the “Reventon”.
And when you consider it, from the brief info given, Aston Martin has relatively more modifications and power-raise than Lamborghini did to their LP640 to create the Reventon. This car is by no means meant to be mass produced, and therefore not to make a long-term profit of it.
These days within the Automotive industry it’s all about appealing to as many potential customers as possible, thereby increasing potential profit. Ferrari has done it many times (the new California, the old Dino etc), Porsche has done it (Cayenne, Panarema), Lamborghini has done it ( the new Estoque and the old SUV) and many many more brands. Now it is Aston Martin's time to expand, with the One77, Rapide, niche versons of already existing models and most importantly the revival of the Lagonda brand.
Some might even argue it is "brand dilution"...
Sorry for long post!
