LAZY TURBO has a reputation beyond repute

13-inch MacBook Battery

So the GF needs to buy one of these (Rechargeable Battery - 13-inch MacBook (White) - Apple Store (U.S.)) but there is no way in hell she is going to pay $130 for one. Is there anywhere else she could get it? It does not have to be OEM, but it can not be some cheap knockoff.

Got one for my blackbook for ~30-35 bux on Amazon. Works fine. Takes a bit of use for the full capacity to come out.

It's worth going to the Apple store and seeing if they can help you out... it's not unusual for them to replace it for you for free.
