When will the next Ipad come out?

I want an Ipad, it is a great choice for me, I am always on the go and hate opening and closing my laptop, i want 4g connectivity so that cloud sourcing is a real alternative to downloading and having a library of "my" songs. Do you guys think that the next gen will come with this stuff? or should i just get the 64gig and live with it?

I've been wondering this, as well. I suspect Apple will be a ways behind the 4G curve.

Prob March/April 2011. I highly doubt it will have 4G.

I guess it'll come out one year after the first one, so maybe around April? The iPhone has been updated every year so I'm guessing they will do the same with the iPad. But 4G is a big maybe. We've just launched the 4G in the major cities in Sweden and we are among the first in the world, if not were the first. So it's gonna take quite a while until the network has been extended long enough so it's worth having something that can run 4G, unless you just move around in one city.

Yeah their cycle is usually on a yearly basis for new models.

I hope it's before XMAS because I was hoping to get everyone in my family one, but I'd like it to have the camera, 4G, etc....

It may very well come out for XMAS because TJ MAXX, Marshalls etc, is starting to sell them starting at $399. Maybe it's becoming a closeout?

One question: anyone knows if you can buy prepaid/pay-as-you-go data plan with AT&T?

From what I understand with the iPads, or at least early on, you could buy the monthly data plan on a per month basis. Not sure if it's still the same way.
