I believe burger motorsports makes one already. Is it the single turbo n55 motor?

 

Yes burger has the JB3 piggyback (JB4 around the corner)
Vishu has the Proceed V4 also a piggyback

These tunes are all for the N54 engine, not the N55.

Burger is the closest to a completed tune for the N55 which is in beta testing right now. I'm sure Vishnu will be next with Dinan, GIAC to follow.

After looking searching a while for a tuner a good friend of mine got his 2010 335i tuned by elitespeedperformance. The tune itself took a long time because bmw decided to bury and make it hard to get to on the N55. It's a tune and not a piggyback. The tune should have also removed the speed limiter but we haven't had a chance to test yet.
The ecu's on the newer bmw's are encrypted but this ESP guy knows someone with BMW that gets him access to maps. I'm guessing this encryption is whats delaying the other tuners.
