With all due respect, you are dead wrong.

Maybach only sold 146 units last year TOTAL. Not even 10% of what MB forecasted for the brand. It is the worst selling division in MB history.

Likewise, the SLR has been a big sales dissapointment for MB. This months Motor Trend magazine states, "the SLR has largely been a sales disappointment, moving a total of just 1577 examples worldwide." MB predicted sales of 4,000 units.

If its any consolation, the Bugatti Veyron has also sold very poorly. Bugatti only sold about half of the initial 300 produced and have over 100 gathering dust in their current inventory.

Sales of these super high end cars is largely a myth. Why spend $1.4 million when you could spend around $400 K for an F430 Scuderia. Think, you could get a Carrera GT, F430 Scuderia and a Lambo LP640 for the price of a single Veyron.

They are pretty though!
