The first AMG GT-S arrived at RENNtech Headquarters in Stuart, FL and underwent immediate software testing for U.S. conditions and U.S. 93 octane fuel. RENNtech’s German Engineering facility directly at the Nurburgring has done extensive dyno testing since March 17th 2015 and with three cars running, racked up well over 2,000 miles of high speed testing on the Nurburgring and the German Autobahn. With the pre-developed software, it only took us a few days to make adjustments for the U.S. and get the car on the track at Palm Beach International Raceway. Although conditions were not optimum due to the hot, humid weather in Florida, the GT-S ran with an intermediate software version at 11.28 sec at 128.11 mph quarter mile.
