All right, here's the thing. I've been bouncing around the classifieds for a while, looking at late-model E63s and CLS63s. Driven 'em both, love 'em both. Only problem is, all the ones I've driven have the AMG Performance Package, and it's something I really want if I'm gonna buy one. I want the sport suspension, and I want the uprated engine on the M157-powered models.

Unfortunately, finding AMG Performance-equipped examples is proving harder than I thought it would. So, I'm asking the gurus of Teamspeed who have experience with both versions: Is the Performance Package worth waiting and searching for, compared with the stock car? Alternatively, would it be easy to seek reliable aftermarket replacements for the engine tune and suspensions?

Any help would be appreciated, and the more specific, the better.

 

Just get a Brabus ecu remap! and exhaust if you want! Cheaper, more power + warrantie!

 

That doesn't help me with suspension, though...

 

Frankly I would look for one with the Limited slip.
