2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series Spotted Wearing Summer White

Today our Teamspeed spies bring us another set of photos of the 2013 Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series about to hit the ring for a few hot laps. This is the first prototype we have caught in white, sporting the same massive high-performance brakes and larger rear wheels as the black test mules from a few months back. The super-wide body kit gives us an idea of how much more aggressive this will be visually over the stock SLS.

Under the hood, rumors suggest the 6.3-litre V8 engine could deliver 600 hp and 677 Nm of torque. This will likely enable the car the new SLS variant to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 322 km/h.

The SLS AMG Black Series will be produced in a gullwing model and a roadster, with both cars expected to be launched sometime in 2013, pricing is rumored to start at €260,000.

Not big enough
It should be as big as the SL BS compared to the SL.

 

Looks nice but I agree. Needs to be more extreme.

 

Maybe its just the paint, but its hard to notice the widebody exterior. And 260k euros? Thats a really steep price!

 

The white washes it out so you can't really see the definition in the fenders. Mercedes hasn't disappointed with any of the other BS cars, I don't think they'll fall short with the SLS.

 

Needs a fat ass flared front fenders a crazy full on bonnet and a massive wing. SLS GT3 for the road

 

oh god this car in roadster form is creeping into my subconcious. brown paint tan colored roof. what am i thinking???
