10 weeks later and 3.5K poorer, my ADV.1 wheels are still not here...

I totally agree it's on the dealer for over promising. Now it's up to ADV to play catch up. Not fair to ADV in my opinion.
For the record, I don't own any ADV wheels.

In the end if my company makes a mistake (even if it's a representative of my company) it is 100% my responsibility to make it right. PERIOD
ADV has an issue. If they tell people 10-12 weeks plus they will lose orders. They won't lose all. It's part of doing business. Learning the curve.
You see from this thread alone that ADV promised wheels on his car last week.
Where are they? So I won't blame the dealer in this instance. It appears to be growing pains.

The same goes for my company Mark. Regardless of who makes a mistake, it's my ass on the line. Not the agent.
Growing pains are a good problem to have in this economy!

Shrinking pains are worse

I wouldn't be so on it if ADV didn't promise them.
That is all.

Call me crazy, but a set of wheels shouldn't take LONGER to produce and ship then the actual CAR that costs 10-100X more.

I`m sure I`ll sound like an ass to you and I understand the support for a sponsor here,but...
"fairness" is probably the most irrelevant word here...
I mean when it comes to business there is no such thing as fairness, emotions and stuff...
the customer placed an order and expects to be delivered what he paid for(the selling price imo includes service etc)
so if he does not get what he paid for he could not give less of a shit about who screwd up or made mistakes in the supply chain or anything else...he just wants to get his stuff.
If I made a contract for a project on something with another co. and would not "deliver" as stated in the contract,do you think the would come up to me and ask me politely how we could arrange things to get it all done?
No,...they would be faster at the competition than I could even say "but,but..."

It's entirely about this Dealer that represents these wheels over promising.
You can speak ill of them.
This dealer is 100% this clients rep for ADV
If ADV doesn't stop dealers from lying for them they will continue to have unhappy clients and discussions about them.
While I truly dislike HRE have you seen a HRE bashing thread here? Do they perform in time?
Adv tony whomever this is even promised him his wheels on his car las week. Did it happen Redline? No
Sorry either perform as your dealer represents or can the dealers that are making these promises. Adv can control this if they care to. Or possibly adv is promising these lead times to dealers and adv is falling short.

As far as me promising the wheels last week, they're ready. The wheels were finished last week when I posted up the photos so we came through on our end. We're just waiting on the customer and dealer to sort out payments and pick up! Al12183 can attest to that.
Do u mind sharing why do u "truly" dislike HRE? just curious coz I have had them in the past before and kinda think that they have a top notch customer service.
No worries people no need to get worked up.
I just paid them off and going to pick them up sometime this week from garden grove. Going to put them on after my amg performance suspension arrive next week.
Here is a pic below from ADV.
Lets see if they will fit without any issues

I understand sticking up for sponsors. I get it.

I thought the OP had started this thread about 3k out of pocket for 10 weeks where are my wheels. If the dealer hasn't paid you for the wheels and the OP has it seems that the Dealer has a lot of egg on it's face.
10 weeks is still pretty long
