Wonderful car and such a beauty as well. There are a few W140's station wagons with the 7.3 V12.

xlx_LFA_xlx has a reputation beyond repute

It amazes me to see how much power we can get from engines today. A 7.3 liter V12 producing 525 hp in the late 90's from Mercedes was incredible. Today Aston Martin's 7.3 V12 in the One-77 makes over 700. I bet that SL73 was louder than hell.

I need an SL73 in my life. R129's are cool when equipped with the 18" monoblock amg and the amg sportskit.

We have an SL700 in Bahrain, its the R230 model, heard that they only 20 were ever produced. Anyone else heard of this?

AMG made a limited run of SL70 AMG with a 7055cc engine making close to 500hp (496 to be exact).
