Not in the lower class stuff. Man my Audi is head and shoulders above the BMW in class.

But if i had to pick, S63 still think its the best looking, then S8 even though I think the styling is too subtle and the bmw.

But the alpina changes everything if thats an option

MB horrid in all aspects.

That S8 doesn't look bad. If it's as nice as my little baby S4 it's got to be great.

I never thought about the Porsche. The rear end isn't great but the front is really growing on me. I've never driven one so I can't comment but every Porsche I have driven I have just loved.

I've not driving a 7 series BMW for years but man they were nice 5-7 years ago. A league well above MB and Audi back then.

M3>S4>335 fixed it for you

and the back seat of the e92 m3 the coupe, is the most comfortable thing i have sat in even though its only two seats, its much better than s4 and c63 back seat.

h20, I think mb has some issues, ill be the first to admit it.

but the clk black series, clk dtm, g55 and e55 wagon are some of the best cars in my honest opinion.

and I like the new s4, but i think its to subtle like most audi are, except for RS's

Black series is MB way to extort more money from grandma and grandpa nothing else.

G55 are tanks though a blacked out one like Storybook is the best looking mb ever made IMHO. Wouldn't own one tho.

Dtm I respect for their specs. Very fast. But my God 500k and 99.999999999999 percent of the world can't tell it's not a clk320

I've got a soft spot for wagons. BMW Audi even mb so an e55 wagon I might look twice at but wouldn't let my 70 year old mom drive one.

My experience has been that BMWs are usually the most dynamic and connected drives in their segments. Even the most base 328i I got as a loaner had a great engine/exhaust note, excellent steering, and suspension thats the perfect blend of luxury/comfort/sport. I pretty much think all German luxury cars are exceptional, but the BMWs take the cake in actual driving... if not by much. I back-to-backed a C63 and an M3 recently, and the C63 is def a bruiser and sounds amazing... but the 5 yr old M3 still turns and handles better. I back-to-backed a new supercharged S4 manual and a 2008 335i manual, and although the new S4 is altogether a better package (interior design especially), the 335i just has that "IT" steering/suspension feel. Maybe I am just possessed by BMW, but I definitely notice it.

Any of these luxo-sedans is a fine choice, and I'd be proud to roll up in all of them. S65 is an enchanting experience but it definitely feels BIG... Same with a 760Li my dealership had recently...I wouldn't really carve any corners in that beast. Quattroporte is much sportier but also quite a bit smaller in the back seats. We had a Panamera Turbo, and it definitely feels like a Porsche, but also quite a bit smaller. I can't wait to see what the S8 brings to the table.

Your hatred for MB is commendable lol

But i have to agree with alot you, said blackseries is true, but I think the clk black series is perfect looks mean sounds good handles well.

The G55 is a beast and the only car i would rather have is RR Defender, but even used ones are sold at such absurd prices.

DTM agree completely, but you must admit, AUDI is the worst at differentiating there A4 2.0t from there top end S4, only a true enthusiast could tell the real difference which is bothers me alot about audi, even though i love there engines and interiors.

And i have a weakness for wagons too, feel in love with the old v8tt RS6, and have loved them ever sense hate how we cant get them over here, would have loved the

e60 m5 wagon.

Just a quick question, i see you love for porsche, but find it alot odd you prefer audi S/RS to bmw M?? correct me if im wrong.

But porsche has always been a pure drivers car, and same with bmw in my opinion. i just figured u would like bmw M over audi S

Seriously BMW feels like I am driving in a tank of water. Uninspired and no feel. I am comparing sedans btw but truly dont like the feel of the m3's either. I do like the looks of about 5-7 year ago M's but just the looks.

I too would prefer a Defender over a g55 cuz I bought one

I think the S line is way different in Audi but I have always thought they were awesome looking but just now bought one. Interior the same. Mine is full of carbon bits and really feels amazing inside. This is a bias view I know but it really is nice.

So I can tell them apart.

Mark, reading your posts makes me feel like you haven't driven a BMW in a long time (I'm sure you have). Uninspired and no feel? You are the only person I know who thinks that way. I've had the last 3 generations of the M3, an M5, an M6, and an M Roadster, and every single one was a fantastic drivers car. On top of it, my wife has had a 335 and 2 X5s all of which I have preferred over the Audi and Mercedes cars I have owned or driven.

I've not driven an m3 for 3 years. Well it was an 08 I mean.

Remember this is a sedan thread. Ou are correct it's been a bit and I have never hammered one around a track at 8 tenths.
