2012 S8, S63, or 750li, which would you prefer?

My father's in the market for a new car, and I'm trying to help him choose a car. He currently drives a 10' S63:

For some reason he won't drive anything that's not like the biggest sedan in the model range haha, but I want him to get something more sporty so I was thinking about the S8, and he was also thinking about the 750li, but I don't think that it is nearly as good as the benz or the Audi. Also he is thinking about a newer s63 with the new twin turbo engine, but I really don't see that being much different from this. Any opinions from somehow who has driven these cars or any other suggestions? (obviously the s8 isn't out but we can speculate as to how good it will be)

S63 without a question, its the best in the group, I think the new S8 looks too subtle, and it doesnt have the the old lambo V10.

The BMW isnt bad, but the S63 is the clear choice

^ I agree the Benz is a very good car, but change is never a bad thing. He's had 2 consecutive s63's haha

I thought bi-turbo v12 amg is the biggest sedan in the range? Have him get that.

If it comes down to "the big three", he really should go out and test drive them. Personally, I love the MB and is by far the prettiest one of the bunch in AMG livery, but it's been around over 6 years - that is an eternity in the luxo class - and ought to be due for replacement. And it feels 15 years older than the 2010- onwards A8.

No opinion on the new S8 yet as it is basically just some renderings and a bullet list of features at this point, but since my previous gen 8 is the best car ever and ever to exist I can't imagine it being anything but. But I do love the 7er and wouldn't mind a 750Xi. But it's no twin turbo V8 out of Ingolstadt. (and the S8 V10 engine wasn't all that, good riddance)

the new bmw looks very good, just think the power would be too low from the 63...
