I like the modifications, I think the 2006 front end looks meaner because the openings of the side of the bumper (flares) are larger and squared (more AMG). The SL63/65 new bumper looks closer to the AMG Sports package found on ie SL550 with AMG kit.

I wonder how the 2006 front with the facelift rear would look with the Anthracite OEM rims of 2006 model, I like what you've done but I think it will look even nicer with some CF trim for the exterior such as CF bootlid spoiler, side mirrors and the rear diffuser which I believe can be brought from board sponsor revozport.

looks great, but a bit too low for my liking

Car looks amazing. But I agree, just a hair too low. Wouldn't want to scrape that beautiful front end of it in potholes/bumps/driveways.
