don't think that is, cos the front lights on the bumper are different

Have not followed these closely but I swear I saw this car yesterday and was confuzzled.

That is the facelift model, you can tell by the strip of LED at the very bottom of the headlights and the front bumper is subtle different in the edges and it now has LED instead of traditional foglights.

Question, the previous S63 was powered by a 6.2 liter, current is powered by a 5.5, why is it an S63?

Marketing 100%.

The S63 new model is offered in 540hp and 570 Performance package.

Love the facelift model. The S63 PP is an amazing sedan.
