Video of my Edition 79 G55 AMG.
Hello,
Here is a video of my car, just wanted to show you the interior and exterior plus some sound from the exhaust.
It's a terrific car, it's been 3 months since I first got it and I love it more and more on a daily basis. This is a very unique car, I love how its a 507hp supercharged engine supply the torque, so powerful you get a little bit of torque steer speeds 0-40 km/h due to the insane torque available at low rpm's.
The Car is sensational and the fact that it is a limited edition model celebrating the 30th anniversary of the G-class it would be nice to have as a keeper "classic". I have always wanted a G-class, I couldn't get it earlier but you know if you strive for something you can make it happen and I am glad I was just there at the right time to find one in stock.
When I was in London last October I saw one parked not far from Harrod's every time I passed every know and then, I said to my self I doubt I can find a new one in stock. The car ticked all the right boxes, ie colours, options and the total spec be it the carbonfiber interior, exterior matte silver and the Gray rims.
I got back home and was just passing the showroom and to my excitement I find two in the exact same specifications as the one I saw in London.
The Dealership only brought 4-5 G55's Edition 79 supposedly though I saw more in the exact same specifications which allegedly are Grey market cars ie brought from other countries. I live in a small country and uniqueness is a key, there are lots of continues "copies" of other peoples car specifications and as people here are competitive they like to spoil your parade, the dealership resprayed two clients G55's to the exact same colour of mine and people started importing second hand models from the UAE and the Middle-East.
I am very grateful for owning such a nice car, I've always like the G55 and as an AMG aficionado its the "holy grail" of G55's.

Sound of the door is rather unique, it feels like a bank vault on wheels and when the door locks gives you the impression of reloading a rifle.
The sound system of the car is a concert on wheels, it sounds extremely well and the sound of the exhaust on the move is very SLR Mclaren like, very deep burble like a spit fire plane.
To me this is a 4x4 palace on wheels, it's hand made in Magna Steyr Austria in a plant that specialises in building tanks and other army equipment. If you compare this SUV to any car in terms of pricing there are more choices to choose from such as the likes of a 997 Turbo S which is in a similar pricing category.
Anyways to me this is one of my most favourite cars out there and I absolutely love it as many of you know. I like to share my enthusiasm with you via topics, pictures and videos and I hope you enjoy the narratives.
