CL55 - Custom Corner Exit Exhaust ???
So here's the story. Around 2004-2005 I was in San Antonio and saw a silver CL55 with a Renntech badge. It had exhaust that was moulded into the bumpers and exited at a 45 degree angle...The side corners of the rear bumper.
I have searched the web endlessly and cannot find any pictures of this setup. Has anyone here seen what I am talking about? If so, does anyone have any pictures. I am dying to see it.

The car was owned by my best friend & former business partner Tony Massenburg who played for San Antonio. The Titanium Aero mods (including the exhaust surrounds) were designed by Rod Trenne of Trenne Technologies, Inc (Designer of the Mosler MT900), but the concept of the exhaust was by Hartmut Feyhl of RENNtech. The car was built for the Car & Driver Supercar Challenge 2004 linked here.

Yeah it was! He traded for a full blown Novitec F430. I had the pleasure of switching cars with him and spent a lot of time in the CL. It was a truly unique car. The actual color was Horizon not silver. The original setup included the forged RENNtech Monoblock I's but were later swapped out for the GFG's. The primary reason for the exhaust mods was to incorporate the rear diffuser for the C&D test. It is hard to tell on the pics I submitted but the titanium bright work follows the contours of the lower rockers to aid in downforce. I was looking for my CAD pics that I have from Rod Trenne. When I find them, I'll post them if you'd like.
