Have you driven the car yet after the K2 upgrade? or is it still at your dealer?

and did kleemann send you the Kleemann badges as on my car? Kleemann logo and the "comfort power" badge

 

I have'nt driven it and its still not finished 5 days max, its at the dealer.

They sent me badges, 3 kleemann badges, hood/boot badge and 4 comfort power badges.

Im removing the MB star badge on the boot for the Kleemann logo, however I am painting the inside of that logo red like the logo on the Airbox I've got that Kleemann supplied. On the sides I am adding the V8 Kompressor badges from the SL55 and under neath each one I'll add comfort power which is subtle on a black car.

Next to SLK55 on the boot will be a (K) but painted red, also a subtle addition showwing its a Kleemannized SLK.

On the airbox, you see how on your car you've got AMG lettering on the airbox airfilter locations, I wont have that and I've put the two Kleemann badges on them rather than having them on the exterior.

When I get back and have the wheels installed etc, I plan to get the K3 package soon or in the near future which consists of the camshafts. Later on, I want a larger heat exchanger and the LSD then my car will be near perfect.

Basically Kleemann's service is outstanding, they are prompt and reply to my questions quickly. In the PDF they state that there is a Thermostat needed, PDF based on the 500 engine which is the same basis of my engine and the CEO Claus A called my friend who is working on the car when he first came to work. I like the dedication and the steps they take, they've packaged the supercharger 2 days before the funds recieved in their account. They've pre assembled the Supercharger build to make it easier for me, they gave me lots of decals and took the extra step to add the Kleemann logo on the airbox rather than the MB logo which I told them I dont want. I am very happy as of now, hopefully they will see more from me when I get another Mercedes or other modifications.

 

I've always liked what you've done to your car.

Thank you very much, everything is quick i cant belive twenty days ago I sent the ECU to Denmark, 20 days later were 75% done I guess. Just waiting for the HRE's.

This is a message from the email I got, so I guess we are getting very close.

"At the moment we are installing the heat exchanger, therefore the complete radiator and condenser unit was removed.
Found a good place for it and the Johnson and secondary air injection pump.
Tomorrow we’ll see some further progress.
Takes a little bit longer, since we are totally full and I wan’t to give 100% focus on your car to make the install as good as possible."
