From what I know there were a handful, maybe two handfuls successfully imported into the US. AMG won't tell you anything but I believe that I have one of the 2-3 black coupes in the country. Supposedly approx 60 were silver, 30 were black, and 10 went white direct to race teams.

It's funny, I've never been a fan of the regular CLK - I thought the proportions were all wrong, the car had an overall funny stance and the rear was too high and narrow. But it all falls into place on the DTM. Such a bad arse machine!
