Just got a call from the dealership to come and check it out, first one arrived on this side of the country.

Its looks amazing in the flesh, great side profile where you can see the long bonnet.

Will try post some pics later, but my Blackberry camera is rather poked.

 

There is an invitation only event this week to thrash the car around the track Should be fun!

 

Driving its nice, I've driven it but for its price it lacks the special feeling. I liked it because of the doors, if I was in the market I'd get a 458 which is similar to the SLS price here in Kuwait.

I dont know how to say this but the 458 feels more special, the sense of occasion you go out in the weekend in a special car. The SLS has a better sound system, I like the B&O.

 

Some of the confirmed drivers from PE went to JHB yesterday to go play with the track rat. Unfortunatelly, of the 3 confirmed for PE, noone will probably ever see any action on the street, I doubt they will even reach freeway speeds. I know the one owner well and he has said its only job will be to go from coffee shop to coffee shop.


On our side the SLS should be quite abit cheaper then a 458.

 

The 458 is cheaper here no mark up at all.

 

OK well i didnt realise how bad my phone has become, lens is really badly out of focus, looks like a dodgy spy pic.

Also the dealer confirmed with me that they are expecting a Black Series to come down the line, but we all pretty much guessed that was gonna happen anyway.

 

That's exactly what I am waiting for. Black series SLS

Edit: Why are the guys flying up here? There is another track session with the SLS in the George/Knysna area.
