Can the stock tranny tolerate all that torque?

Yes stock auto tranny from AMG can handle it. That is the reason they don't go to the new 6 speed auto, the 5 speed auto is a beast.

With Renntech it isn't about extracting maximum amount of power just to compete with cheaper competitors, it is about quality and driveability. What kind of 0-60 times can you expect with that package? I'll bet it's a monster in the 60-100 range.

 

Robert, the limitations are going to obviously be traction! With that much torque the tires will have a hard time keeping up. But where it will shine is on the roll, especially at freeway speeds (exotics will have a frustrating time against the S65 with this package).

 

There really is too much the s65 can't do.. I haven't driven the 2010 yet but the george and Harmut at renntech are super guys to work with.. the 2009 is a beast I. think the 2010 has a revised dash & some minor other upgrades
