I love the SLS . Id love to buy a used one but I dont think this will experience the typical AMG depreciation 50% in first 2 years.

Hi Mo, as you know I've had the SL55 and SL65, although they are different from the new 63. I'm bored of the SL's to be honest. I need something different!

all the best.
I'm sooooo glad I'm not the only one with this point of view. No offense to C63 owners, but I don't want to fork out XXX amount of money on a car with an engine that 15,000 or 20,000 other C classes have. Not trying to be elitest or anything, I just want I am paying for!

I agree about the Engine... Doesnt make it worth the $$ with the 63 - I'm sure they will be doing a "special" version in the future (hopefully V12TT), but can you wait?

I understand your point Mike, it is always a hard chioce to go with one perfect supercar or with few great supercars. I want to see Pagani C9 and know the specs, from what I know now this car will be quite something. But will it be four times better that new Mclaren? I guess we will have answer coming with first drive reports. But even now I am sure that new McLaren will be really next step in its price segement.

speaking about SLS, as I understood from one dealer in Germany that SLS Black Series is in the works for 2011 and this car will be equipped with 5.5 twin-turbo new generation AMG engine.

Do it, black exterior with red inside. If it was mine it would be green though with brown/tan on the interior.

Why is Brabus only using 3 cylinders (per side) to drive each turbo? The second picture clearly shows the 4th cylinder being plumbed in after the turbine housing exit.

Mike - FWIW, the 6.2L (because it really is 6.2L) has been reworked enough for the SLS to get a different engine designation. Now just get one so we can all oooh and aaah for a few days!

D55L

I am 100% sure, that the 5.5Lv8 turbo will be put in the current e-class when it has its facelift and on the CLS aswell and maybe next SL series. Not sure but maybe when they axe the G55 you will see that engine in it, MB is prone to have a common engine in many varient ie car classes.

i noticed that too when i first saw the pics, maybe it's to avoid turbine overflow if they are too small from packaging constrins, or to add some exhaust velocity by scavenging the turbine side. pure assumptions
