Someone out there will soon be the lucky new owner of this DTM Mercedes Benz C-Class, providing they have a spare 300,000 + Euro in the bank.

Christie’s, the prestige London based auction house will handle the sale. All proceeds are in aid of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation and will help fund social sports projects for children and young people all around the world. Laureus Sport for Good Foundation is a by product of the annual Laureus World Sports Awards in which Daimler AG helped found some nine years ago.

The “Laureus AMG Mercedes C-Class” comes with some serious racing heritage as it is a past DTM round winner in the hands of Gary Paffett. As a bonus to a prospective collector, the race cars bonnet has been signed by a number of famous ex-sports stars such as tennis champ Boris Becker, and former F1 ace Niki Lauda.

The closing date for the Auction is the 4th of April, 2008.

 

Beautiful car, it would be a great addition to a serious collecters stable.

I bet I can lie to the police here and use it as a daily driver, excuse me sir this car is a special edition and road legal.

I did the samething to pass the Cayenne S where I was stopped on the highway for excessive noise trying to overpass a truck.
