05/06 CL65.... Whats the deal?
Hey guys,
Looking around today, and realized the 05/06 CL65's are selling for dirt cheap. $65-85k for examples with low/decent mileage.
Am I missing something here? Almost seems too good to be true.
Anyone know what the warranty details are? I would assume these would still be under the original factory warranty? Is it possible to extend? Definitely not the type of car i'd like to own out of warranty.
Owners/AMG fans please chime in...

Any major issues with these cars? Don't want something in the shop every other week.
Also, can anyone confirm the warranty? I'd assume 4yr/50k? Does mercedes offer an extended option at the end of the original?
The power potential on these things seems absurd.... TT V12...

Yes, standard warranty 4years/50K and smart money grabs the 7 year 100K extended offering. AMG engines can VERY expensive to repair. Two options to consider: the 7/100 extended M-B warranty - call Lisa at Courtesy Motors in Chico, CA for best price quote - and the 7/100 Daimler-Chrysler warranty. Reportedly the two are identical, except the D-C covers some items the M-B doesn't (gaskets & NAV) and is supposed to be $1200 less expensive. Still have a year to go on my 13K mile '05 E55's factory warranty, but I'm ready to pull the trigger for one of these.
