FYI, Apple Store will now match local retailers as long as the retailer has it in stock. Best Buy generally is $50-100 cheaper then the apple store.

I ended up trying a refurbished. Hopefully its not problematic.

I bought a used iPad off criagslist, have had it over a yr and not a single issue and it was sold w/ a case, all boxes, papers etc

Not entirely sure why but there are a lot of unopened Apple products on Craigslist. Might have something to do with the employee discount.
